It's the great "Shut up and Dance" and the rest... and some political shoehorning in places it shouldn't be... The word of the day indeed is SHOEHORNED.
The PC Councilor goes last as always, if you don’t know I nominate PC Councilors based upon games I find to be exemplar of the AVN genre. That’s “Adult Visual Novel” or in Cam Star’s case… Adult Gaming. If I have any bias or dealings with the dev, I will inform you directly. ++6Instantly, you know Atlyss is ineligible. But its worth noting of its existence.
The B-Tier (Good-Excellent, but not perfect):
Atlyss (Needs mapped out more)
Atlyss says its been in development for a minute, but I can’t help but be miffed by the hidden journal that gives you little hint of what you need to do. Asking Atlyss to do what Morrowind did shouldn’t be a problem if they want difficulty that is. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it feels like a harder Diablo with a furry MC. OVERALL, it’s a bit spammy for combat, but it has that word: POTENTIAL. Plus the character creator is fun and maybe multiplayer was fun, but why would I play a furry game… with… other furries. *GASP* THE HORROR! Also am I furry now? Uh… IDK… But I did like this, I wanna see more updates though…
In all seriousness: It’s very cheap and some fun can be had. Maybe try it? IDK.
Cam Star (Amouranth and Projekt Melody approve!)
Not really anything deep to say about Cam Star. It is simple. Has a point and makes it immediately. You have things you can unlock by “being yourself” a cam girl asked to cam on a spaceship and you are recorded 24/7. #capitalism
Jokes aside, it’s brief and makes it point. It’s also affordable. I should also mention Shady Corner and I recommend each other on Patreon. So… *BIAS* indeed.
Horny Holiday (A true present under the tree!)
Now onto “Horny Holiday” a game I am writing about too late. It’s a 1 on 1 love story where a guy down on his luck meets Joy. Joy is also recently single and they hit it off at a holiday party. Joy is well-written and this honestly feels like a Hallmark movie AVN. I don’t have anything bad to say about it unlike Move the Chains… Where is Rob Lowe when you need him….. Because of its self-given timestamp, it’s hard to give it a PC Councilor, plus it doesn’t help I played technical masterpieces like Color of my Sound, Shut up and Dance and Move the Chains after it… and Bright Lord and Isabella: CS before it… I do like the quote boxes. Makes it feel like COYA Hallmark movie comic..
If you dont mind the date stamp, then it’s very worth it. I played it around XMas so it hit the spot.
Magical Gyarus Milk me for Mana (Real title. Love your titles Miel/Norn!)
“Magical Gyarus Milk me for Mana” is exactly what it sounds like and entails. It is a kinetic novel, so little choices involved just following a story. If you have never played a game from developers Miel or Norn (they often team up but lately have split), their games are fast paced nukiges (sex is goal, make sex fast - to keep the definition simple). Dialogue is often the hentaiest hentai you have ever hentaied. Put away your brain for this and enjoy. If you can, I recommend it because it’s amusing enough. If you prefer some common sense and sip tea with your pinky extended, avoid like the plague.

A-Tier (Excellent, but has a fatal flaw that denies it PC Councilor):
Building our Futature (A future full of Futanari sex!):
One of my favorite futanari MC games. You can tell the direction of it from the above screenshot. It’s netori. Avoid if you don’t like relationship sabotage. Titles I buy are denied PC Councilor. I bought this, multiple times.
Color of my Sound (Music to my ears):
A wonderfully and masterfully told sci-fi spy thriller that is clearly visually gorgeous. But the flaw is just that, it’s so well done that your sexy all-female “Rainbow Six” team is all too suspicious. The two I pictured are my own favorites. They also detail a mission gone wrong which has scarred the MC. Should I ignore Lana and Blanche and not involve them with such an MC wearing their PTSD scars like a cat shamed for making a mess of their litterbox. This is the problem with profound storytelling. Sometimes it overtakes the reason you are here, which Color of my Sound IS an AVN. It did one thing I liked about Isabella: CS and the other A-tiers do. Early sex scene, however, after that… The emotion changed. I rejected an LI because they clearly were suspicious. Call it a difference of belief in AVNs. It has a wonderful Clancy-esque story, but why it is denied PC Councilor is… This wonderfully told story overtakes everything, even to make me feel like its stupid to be with an LI.
So if you don’t mind the sex being backseated, I would say go for this. This is a peak Clancy AVN. I don’t think I can give anything higher praise. But the romance between Clark and the prostitute in Without Remorse, is much better than anything I got from COMS…
Color of my Sound, in my opinion… would be better without the shoehorned sex. Commit to going sexless. Or make it feel far less shoehorned. Despite that, again, this a majestic AVN and worthy of a look.
Move the Chains (The “illegal formation penalty” that negated a 99-yd TD):
Oh man… I will start of by saying this is one of the most technically amazing AVNs I have ever seen and even if you don’t know football, it is explained for you with a pop-up explanation. It’s wonderful to look at and I even see someone I cross-promoted with featured in the hall with all the pics at the top left… It has some charm, it has a lot of systems in place that make you wonder how MTC2 will be… If I would have the ability of foresight, I would name the MC RONNIE for Ronnie Radke. Much like Falling in Reverse and Kanye West, its sad to see things so good marred by nonsense. Also, no Saraya LI. All these references too. I am disappoint. (joking)
What? Now you get my problem and why this isn’t a PC Councilor. I didn’t screenshot the ebonics (and n-word with A no less. Yikes.) used by some african americans in this game nor a big central Rittenhouse-like plot point to give the MC some Radke-like ability to shit on “being cancelled” and while all this happens, Ivy just simply exists. The fact a wonderfully well-written trans romance is in here with a care and understanding that made this non-binary person smile alongside trashing Lia Thomas (albeit indirectly) is so mind-boggling…
I don’t think I have ever smiled and enjoyed something only to roll my eyes a minute later. That’s the thing about having an opinion though. Sometimes it’s funny, like the BSPN parody. Other times, you are old man yells at cloud talking about “cancel culture”.
I prefer my stories apolitical. I know a few probably eyerolled when I personally made a pro-Climate change passing remark, but otherwise… I tried to keep Projekt Moon: Hope Awakens politics free. People can look at Xitter, FB or the news if they want that crap. So… as wonderful as this is minus the politics… It is denied PC Councilor for them. Sorry. I do, however, recommend this if you can overlook some right wing lines tossed your way. I couldn’t.

I wish this would have been the last of this cycle. Boring Games deserves a better write-up and commentary. It is a very sexy AVN with your classic “landlady” and “roommate” both are gorgeous and well-designed. Both well-written and there is a well-written story that hovers around it but doesn’t break the draw of Megan and Sarah.
“Powers” come into play and I wish more was done with them and thats my only small gripe, but you could say that’s a “Patreon issue” there like calling Megan/Sarah landlady and roommate lol
Highly recommended and no flaws unlike the previous two.
