So as I sit here awaiting my time to go to work, I finally feel ready to play a game. Well, what do I play? Oh… Everything I can play takes more than an hour to play… I don’t have anything to throw on quickly, be done and carry on my day. Everything demands time.

This is like the 3rd day in a row, I have spent grappling with the amount of time I have and the amount of productivity I need to have, etc to get things done for Pervert City, Projekt Moon and life as a whole. Time serves as a pressure cooker than ensures you feel things are slipping by at a never-ending pace. It doesn’t help I am the middle of a busy week in life too, so when the hours pass, days pass, it’s easy to feel down about it all.

I haven’t spend an hour on this game in ages and I feel lesser for it.

I wanted to write about Cyberlinxxx for my next write-up but I felt this just felt right. Sometimes I just want to rant, I want to look at these game companies that don’t really offer pick-up and play games anymore. Baldur’s Gate 3, for as GREAT as it is, doesn’t offer that “pickup and play” feel. You need to drop TIME into it. There’s that time word again.

Even in your battle royales, you have challenges that don’t value your time. Get 10 headshots with a shotgun at Tilted Towers. “Uh, you dont realize the circle moves and I can do that in one game?” Yup! LOL that means you have to play until you complete your challenge. “Well, play a mobile game”. Cool! There is a game mode in one of my mobile games that is time locked and I can’t play it at work because it’s only available during the days. COOL! No… COME ON, MAN. Seriously?!

Time leaves you behind the eight ball in all ways. What to do?
